We are fortunate to have members from all over North America and beyond who are eager to share their building knowledge with others.
We are a diverse group of builders, scientists, hobbyists and volunteers who strive to educate everyone about the efficiency and wonder of wood-fired appliances. While a good number of our members are professional masons interested in expanding their skills, MHA membership isn’t limited to professional masons. We also include amateurs and hobbyists - folks who are keen to learn about becoming more self-sufficient. For the professionals, we offer Certification, continuing education and advice to strengthen their small businesses; these craftspeople design and build masonry heaters and wood-fired ovens throughout North America. For the amateurs, we offer workshops, training and advice on their wood-fired projects.
